Biographies
Jacqueline Pina
Jacqueline Olivia Pina is CEO of One Heart Community, LLC, the innovative and inclusive business brand that celebrates all dimensions of female entrepreneurship.
Jacqueline is an enrolled Crow (Apsáalooke) Tribal member. As a child Jacqueline was named Sacred Tobacco Woman. It was Jacqueline's beloved grandmother who taught her the wisdom and power of faith and love.
Jacqueline moves through the world inspired by her heritage and trust in Creator. Jacqueline helps those suffering from the effects of generational trauma. As an active path seeker, her passion is to explore the realms of faith and spiritual practice to transform lives. A dedicated humanitarian and life-long learner, her heart for service began in her youth.
As a street pastor and spiritual life coach, Jacqueline has been entrusted with many sacred stories. After working among the homeless for over a decade, Jacqueline now dedicates her focus on shining light over fear in a classroom setting. She brings the power of hope to life through holistic-based curriculum integrated with healing and strengthening the human spirit. Through these endeavors Jacqueline paves the way for others to succeed and to live life skillfully.
Jacqueline served as the Editor for the Native American site at BellaOnline.com, publishing over 50 articles on historical trauma and finding peace through Native American Wisdom.
In 2009, Jacqueline experienced intense spontaneous healing from alcohol addiction resulting from unresolved childhood grief.
Jacqueline's most recent published work can be found in a chapter of the book, The Power of Life Coaching, Volume 4, where she shares the inspirational details of her miraculous recovery from addiction.
In September 2024, Jacqueline launched One Heart Community Center with Laura Collins to empower local businesswomen and female entrepreneurs by offering professional coaching, educational services, consulting, training, fundraising support, and retail space in a Boutique specially designed to focus on wellness and joy.
Jacqueline's formal accomplishments include Central Washington University B.A. Ed. (K-8), magna cum laude Lesley University M.A. Ed. Curriculum Design and Development, Wainwright Global, Inc. Professional Life Coach Certification CPC, and Ordination through Universal Life Church.
Laura Collins
The daughter of a teacher and a military member, Laura Sommer Collins continues to honor her parents' legacy as a pillar in her community by providing educational and humanitarian services. Born in summer, Laura's father spelled her middle name the Scandinavian way. As for the meaning of Laura, which is bright, joyful, full of life, honor, strength, sovereign, and monarch, she is indeed living up to her name.
A loving wife and mother, Laura extends this sense of home, warmth and security to everyone she meets. Laura was born in the Pacific Northwest but soon experienced living in other parts of the country. She credits that upbringing with her deep appreciation of culture, arts, and community-building. At a young age Laura also gained the skills of resilience, adaptability, and teamwork. As an adult Laura came full circle and settled back in the PNW. Laura inherited her mother's appreciation of nature and considers Puget Sound her sanctuary.
Laura pursued work with young children in Montessori and Waldorf Education. Laura's passion for nature, children, and teaching inspired her to become the Founder of Sequoia Farm School where she provided private education for older grades displaced by school closures. Laura was love-in-action as she designed a successful learning community from scratch.
These experiences have led Laura to her clear vision and purpose; to meet others with love, support, and bring a heart of service. She does this work now as a professionally certified End of Life Doula and Spiritual Teacher. Laura is CEO and Founder of Sacred Journeys, an in-home care service helping the elderly age in place by supporting them through life's final journey. Laura also specializes in Dementia and Memory Care.
Laura is a powerful advocate of women's wellness and she extends her skills as an educator and community-builder to programs providing support for local women entrepreneurs. In September of 2024, Laura helped launch One Heart Community Center with Jacqueline Pina to empower local businesswomen by offering coaching, mentorship, educational services, fundraising support, and retail space in a Boutique specially designed to focus on wellness and joy. As an Independent Contractor, Laura's expertise and passion as a Community Outreach Specialist was invaluable in making One Heart Community Center become a reality.
Laura's loving heart is evident in her sense of civic responsibility. She has a proven record of providing grassroots education for the young and compassion and food for the unsheltered.
In her spare time, Laura loves walking along the beach or in the forest with her loving husband of 18 years, and their 2 teenage boys. Laura's connection to nature shines through in her photography. Her collection of work is stunning. Her intent is to provide a sense of peace, tranquility, and joy through the beauty of nature.
